Privacy Policy

Clarus Multimedia Group ("we", "us", or "our") built PhotoFieldKit as a professional photography workflow tool. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
Short version: PhotoFieldKit processes your photos entirely on your device. Nothing you photograph is ever sent to our servers. The only personal data we collect is your email address if you sign up for early access.
Information We Collect
Early Access Sign-ups
If you submit your email address on our website to join the early access list, we collect:
- Your email address
- The date and time of submission
- Your IP address (used only for abuse prevention and not retained after 30 days)
The PhotoFieldKit App
The app itself collects no personal data and sends nothing to our servers. Specifically:
- Photos and media: Processed entirely on your device. Never uploaded or transmitted.
- SD card contents: Scanned and imported locally. We have no access to your images.
- Metadata you enter: Stored in the files on your device or the server you explicitly configure for upload.
- SFTP/FTP credentials: Stored in your device's local storage only. Never sent to us.
- Location data: Not collected by us. GPS data already embedded in your photos remains in those files as you choose.
The app requires access to your Photo Library and Files to perform its core functions. These permissions are used solely on-device and are never used to transmit your content anywhere without your explicit action.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email address for one purpose only: to send you a TestFlight invitation when PhotoFieldKit becomes available for testing. We will not use it for marketing, newsletters, or any other purpose without your consent.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party cookies on photofieldkit.app.
Data Retention
We retain your email address until you request deletion or until the early access program concludes. IP addresses collected during form submission are purged after 30 days.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your email from our early access list
- Withdraw consent at any time

Children's Privacy
PhotoFieldKit is a professional tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Security
Your email address is stored on a private server inaccessible from the public internet. We use industry-standard practices to protect it, but no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a professional email address for sign-up.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app develops. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
